Are in the middle of rebuilding but there are a few things to like. Votto is one of the best players in all of baseball. Votto posted a ridiculous .408/.490/.668 line with 15 homers and 55 RBI after the All-Star break.
Let’s look at the lineup….
This lineup has some sneaky value. Hamilton the fastest player in MLB and a great defender leads off, Peraza should be a solid 2nd hitter and if these speedsters can get on base with Votto on deck things could get interesting. Duvall hitting cleanup should get plenty of RBI opportunities and should see some great pitches that Votto won’t see. Bottom 4-5 of the lineup doesn’t strike much fear but Mesoraco and Suarez are good hitters that I could see having big seasons.
Lineup is sneaky good.
|1||Brandon Finnegan||SP||175||7||13||4.42||1.29||151||75||9.6%||91.7 mph|
|2||Robert Stephenson||SP||115||4||9||4.77||1.45||98||57||9.4%||93.2 mph|
|3||Scott Feldman||SP||112||6||7||4.18||1.34||71||29||7.1%||90.3 mph|

|6||Tim Adleman||SP||75||3||5||4.32||1.55||63||33||9.7%||90.8 mph|
|7||Anthony DeSclafani||SP||89||5||5||3.84||1.28||74||23||9.5%||92.9 mph|
|8||Homer Bailey||SP||74||3||5||4.38||1.55||62||25||9.6%||92.7 mph|
I really can’t tell you what this rotation is going to consist of but this rotation is shaky to say the least. No true ace, nobody you would bet EV money on to have an ERA under 3.8. I do like Iglesias but he is already having back issues and he might be the closer. Him and Storen would make an interesting 8-9 inning guys and Cigrani vs LHP is interesting. I think the BP will be much improved from last season but not enough to make too much depth.
I am thinking overs will be good considering the ballpark they play at, the lineup construction and rotation woes. The bottom of the lineup might hurt over chances.
This team won’t do anything obviously but they have some guys coming in like Stephenson and Garrett. Think they are at least a year away and 2 SP’s away.
